Quote from Anne of The Island,L.M Montgomery.
Many a dream had she spun over its sparkling
waters in the days gone by. She forgot lovelorn youths,
and the cayenne speeches of malicious neighbours,
and all the problems of her girlish existence.
In imagination she sailed over storied seas that wash
the distant shining shores of fairy land forlorn,
where lost Atlantis and Elysium lie, with the evening
star for pilot, to the land of Heart's Desire.
And she was richer in those dreams than in realities;
for things seen pass away, but the things that are
unseen are eternal.
siiigh..
for the road to fantasy is one that
not even your dearest may follow.
first thing in the morning i crawled
out of bed.
changed and ate, then took a train to
Jurong East to meet Francine and Jessica.
it was only when i saw them that i realized
how mush i actually missed them.
this was the first time that we have
seen each other since the holidays..
we have been overseas,
living in foreign lands
and leading separate lives.
next year we will all be in
diferent but neighbouring classes.
that means that blur francine really
has to pay attention in class or
withstand the teacher's wrath.
xmas 04 has passed in a flash..
but, really, xmas begins in the heart
and one can rejoice the birth of our
saviour everyday.
perhaps there should not be
specific days to mark specific events.
mum and dad are out, while sis and i chose
to stay at home.
ill much rather do that then walk listlessly ard
departmental stores.
you will when you...believe
