Underneath this smile
My world is slowly caving in
All the while
I'm hanging on instead of letting go
Could you be the one to save me from me

yea..
school finished at 1 30 today
but next wk onwards
it will be at 4 35 almost every day!

you may not know it,
but human beings do possess
lots of power..
of the bad kind.

take for instance,
the countless destructive
weapons that man created,
each capable of claiming more than
a life.

but the most lethal weapon
is probably our tongue.
when we dish out such
hurtful words,
we can never take them back.

you may apologize profusely,
but the damage would have been done.
these sharp words stay in the minds
of those on which you have inflicted
a deep wound,
and haunts them all through their life.

and yes,
they might forgive,
but they may not forget.

as people always say:
the pen is mightier than the sword.

people pour their malice into
falsehoods and rumours,
so untrue that the victims may never
lift up their chins in pride again.

why?
do they enjoy watching the accused
writhe in pain and
break down inside?
do they gain from others' losses?
no.

and in the end,
they will no doubt
feel ashamed and regret
their actions.

when my world caves in
and the skies are grey
only you can save me
