In the rain the pavement shines like silver all the lights are misty in the river. In the darkness the trees are full of starlight and all i see is the stars in the sky. i ache all over.sheesh. the camp was really challenging, but in the end i have no regrets. day 1 we made our way to kota gelangi. we set up our tents in a cave. francine,jess n me in a tent in a dark corner deep in the cave. nice and clean.=) in the aftnn we could not bathe.. cos there was too little well-water. (yes,its a little brown) we went cave exploring at night. it was kind of flooded and there were bats. day 2.. long trekking in the aftnn, in the heart of the jungle. it was utterly gross.there were many swampy areas, and muddy streams. in all of those, only a thin log was placed across. so everyone got seriously muddy. aft lunch we went caving again. this time, there were even tighter squeezes and low ceilings. oh,and we saw a baby monkey's skull. yuck. we wen abseiling later on in the day. it was really high,35m. the rocks were jagged and some oarts were even concave. nevertheless, i survived and escaped with minor cuts and bruises. at night, there was the solo dropoff. we were led to a jungle where we were pklaced 15m apart from each other with no torchlights. it was pitch dark, the kind where you could not even see your hand in front of your face. we stood there for 45mins. was rather scary but i kept myself busy. day 3.. jeram besu hostel!! finally proper facilities such as beds and running water. i did flying fox with mingyue. since we were heavier, we went faster. it was really fun and we were laughing all the way. the halting part was bad. then we crossed the river. it was really fun. aft lunch..we wen whitewater rafting. or in the case,brownwater rafting. it was great fun though there weren't many rapids. we paddled till our hands ached. day 4 nothing much. learnt some songs and went trekking. i chose not to swim. cos the water was really filthy. then we took a bus to the resort where we met up with all our friends. thereafter we boarded a van to the train station. the driver was crazy,doing 120 on the highway. sure,its malaysia, but the vehicle is a van!! we boarded a train. i sat beside francine and we had a blast eating chips and sleeping. i bought choc and hazelnut cookies. day5 we arrived at tanjong pagar station. my mum,dad and sis were there. we had lunch and now i'm back at home sweet home.=) our love will make us strong together we can be in love forever just the two of us. and when i get lonely hold me we will understand each other. when we're apart i'm in your heart and you'll be in my dreams.
