The Spook Show '05 By Faith Community Baptist Church.
i must say i had a really fun day!! it started off bad though.. with an impossible chinese test. mr niu told us that one whole class failed the test. its really dumb!! there was nothing from the textbook. they took like 5 excerpt or newspaper report, and made each one into a comprehension. the kind where you have to write a hell lot. apart from these were the other sections. i just know im gonna fail terribly.
the rest of the day passed quickly. florence and i went for air rifle. the coach insisted that we tried those stinky jackets that seems to be made of of super hard material, like cardboard. it really worked. usually we shoot almost anywhere except the center but with the help fo the jacket, we shoot nearly all in the center, with only 2 or 3 exceptions. and guess what? coach started scolding us and comparing our results to those of the other sec 3s. he-llo. we only started this year? remembeR? and this was our first time trying the jacket on. she was making a big fuss about our centers not being center enough. like that's super unreasonable! she gave us a long,hard lecture. she claimed that the both of us kept chatting. but we only said things like: is this your last card? what's the time now? these are important stuff!! oh well. we finally left school and went for a quick lunch.
the both of us walked to florence's house. when we opened the door budgie was missing! for some reason, it had went to the kitchen in search for company. we watched stairway to heaven. the events were kinda coincidential. like:he is making his way to her; she gets knocked down by a car. i showered in the kitchen bathroom again. eek. when i first stepped in it stank. the source of the stench was none other then the huge and ancient tooti-bird! the terrapin. after the shower and all the prepping up we were late! so we took a cab to block 72 and the bus left for suntec city!!
ok now comes the exciting part. the hall was done up in a spooky manner and it was dark. florence and i found places in a section. we were sitting in the last row. before the show started we had our dinner of sponsered chicken rice outside the hall. florence and i could not even finished 1/4 of the box. and we shared! when we were done we went back in. i met deb.lam there! to our horror we discovered that there were dozens of people dressed up as ghosts to scare the audience. all of them were not very scary. but there was one that was the worst. im dead serious. she was dressed in a drappy dress stained with blood. her makeup was super realistic!!! oh my gawd!! her lipstick was black and curving downwards. her eyes were thickly layered with eyeliner and her hair was tousled. quite a young girl. about my age. she would be with 3 other girls. but at one time she suddenly separated from the group and went solo. and she approached our row!!! florence was freaked out too. the two of us started screaming. bad mistake. she started coming even nearer. somehow i managed to push through the chairs into the 2nd last row. but florence was stuck in the last row. she pointed a menacing finger at the girl and warned her not to come over. and that idiotic girl pulled back a chair and entered the last row!! i didn't know what was happening because i did not dare to look back. she was actually at the last row scaring florence and some of our classmates. i tried squatting down but i could not stay in that position for long as i kept feeling that she was gonna touch my hair or something so i kept walking backwards.. and i um..fell into the lap of a guy and girl. oh man my face was burning bright red!! i apologised veryvery softly because i was still trying to calm down after that huge scare. finally that stupid girl left and florence migrated to the 2nd last row to join me. it was definitely much safer there. that whole thing kind of shook me up real bad. the worst part was that the show had not even begun!! there was this girl that looked about 12. she looked kinda scary too. probably the 2nd scariest. but the problem was that she didn't know how to act properly. she was a part of the trio- the scariest girl, another not so scary one and herself. this girl had a doll suspended on a string which she would throw out and pull back in. then welsonn snatched the toy away from her. she actually started complaining to her friend and stamped her foot.
then the show started. the music was a little too loud for comfort, but the magic show was really entertaining. there were some old tricks and some neat new ones. the grossest part of the show was a video where the guy dug out his heart and blood spurted out everywhere. i felt like puking.
the last part of the show was a sermon about the demonic world. i found it really interesting. im really happy for florence and yangshuo!!
we took the hired bus back. i enjoyed the ride. especially with nice music courtesy of mingyue. my parent came to fetch me up and i went home. i was really exhausted so i went straight to bed. and that commences a long, but wonderful day.
