today actually..i had no lectures.
and since tutorials are off this week,
so i wasn't even supposed to go to school
today.but safra radio invited 2 djs,
1 from power 98, another from 88.3
to give cmm pupils a talk about radio.
so i decided to go, since radio is
the real reason why i joined cmm.
i'm glad i went for the talk.
it was super short actually..
lots of time was given to Q and As..
wanna know the pay of a DJ?
1.4 to 1.6k a month is the basic pay.
low right?
but for every commercial you record
you get $150.
and if you're good, you can get 3 or more
a day.
easy peasy, just a matter of reading a script.
and when you do roadshows,
you get paid $500 to $1200 (if you're really wanted)
PER HOUR.
woah!!
anyway, the very minimum a dj gets
(aka a lazy dj)
is 4k++.
and if you work hard..who knows how high
it might go?
definitely my passion.
and not just cos of the pay.
after the talk i went bowling with some
cmm peeps. they're all really nice!
down to earth...
you know how people are always saying
how snobbish we are?
and how badly we treat others?
it actually seems the OTHER way around.
when we(cmm people) walked past
some design people at the bowling place,
where they were horsing around.
they immediately stopped what they were
doing.one of them said:
hey, lets stop it. the cmm people are here.
they might think we're crazy.
having said that, they proceeded to cold-stare us.
how nice right?
hah..i saw my friend this morning.

she's so cute man..
she had this thick cooking book in her hands.
study hard but play hard too =))
my friend asked for my blog address.
but i didn't give it.
haha.
its like my safe haven where i can say what i want.
i took the link off my friendster.
so...this blog is somewhat annoymous now.
