Hola!
haven't blogged proper in a long time.
today i finally get a breather, hence this post.
yesterday i had to wake up at 6+,
something which i haven't done for ages.
the reason was archery cca.
my friends and i went for the trail,
and we made it through!!
so, i went to school yesterday expecting to
be starting training proper.
instead, we were treated to PT,
physical training, which basically translates to
physical torture.
4 big rounds around the field, followed by another 4,
pushups, jumping jacks, and many others.
honestly, what does all this have to do with archery?
it was said that this training thing would
go on for the first few weeks.
there after, training would begin.
today i'm seriously aching all over -_-
shoulders, arms, legs, stomach, EVERYTHING!!
project work is streaming in!
no one seems to be having a sense of urgency yet.
people, exciting news!
tomorrow i and some other communication and media
management people will be going to caldecott hill,
mediacorp for filiming!! its some episode of TAB TV,
and the episode will be called "Celebrity Fanatics."
we're still unsure whether we'll be filmed, or watching
the filming.
the celeb going...is really unconfirmed.
but its 90% Zoe Tay!!
cos some people were told to make banners with..
what else? the name zoe tay on them.
we have to rush down after our last tutorial,
APEL, some thing like civic morals ed,
with darryl david =)
i don't do sympathy, sorry.
you know, there's one thing i can't stand.
and that is, people who make themselves sound
super pitiful just to make people pity them
and comfort them.
there's nothing truly bad happening in their life,
seriously.
one example:
i was just have a group discussion online.
i was gushing over some hot actors with my friends.
( -__- i know, i know)
when one of the guys in the discussion said:
" =(.i feel so unwanted now... "
that really pissed me off.
because it wasn't the first time that he tried to pull
off something like that.
it was like the 4th time or so.
and to him i replied:
fyi, i don't do sympathy, sorry.
sounds mean, but its the truth.
the aim of him saying that is most prob
to get the girls to go:
no la, you're fine..don't say that about yourself...
uuugh.
why should i (or we) do that?
i can't stand people who feel sorry for themselves.
everyone, i repeat, EVERYONE, has flaws.
except God, d-oh.
but whether you get over it or dwell on it
is another issue altogether.
if you get over it, good for you.
or if you plan to do something to change it,
even better.
but if you dwell in it,
how can you then ever discover your other talents??
and are you then gonna feed on people's sympathy?
or use your flaw as an excuse for all your mistakes?
thats plain ridiculous!
build a bridge and GET OVER IT!!
( i may sound mad but i'm not )
think about this.
=),
Clara.
