Inconsiderate "Music-Blasters" (Are you one of them??)
You can find them anywhere,
be it in the bus, train, or public places
such as fast food outlets.
These people, otherwise known
as "Music-Blasters", openly blare music from
their mobile phones or music players.
Music-Blasters have absolutely no
regard for innocent bystanders around
them, and are oblivious that more
often than not, they are causing
much disturbance or distress to them.
"Music-Blasters" usually have three
main reasons for their thoughtless action.
Firstly, they can't fight the urge
to drown their thoughts out
in the music.I would strongly advise these
people to invest in a good pair
of headphones so as not to irritate others
in the process.Secondly, they have
the good intention to"share"
their music with others.
However, not everyone has
the same preferences
in music or are interested
in the contents of their music folder.
Thirdly, they wish to send a loud and
clear message that they are tech-savvy
and possess cool electronic gadgets.
To these people:That's enough, we get the idea.
Please don't blast your music.
There should be a law against that.
I just recalled some fantastic
facts about New Zealand.
1)The sun sets at 9++pm.
Until then, it remains very bright..
2)Squat on the floor outdoors, and stretch out your
hand holding some crumbs.
The birds will eat out of your hands.
Even the sparrows.

There are always fires near my house.
Look at the red glow at the background.
Bye.

GAH.
I can't view my blog on this com
but my bro is using the other.
so if you tagged or something,
i won't be able to see it..
for the time being.
to summarise these few days,
its been studying...
this is the first time in my life
that i'm preparing for an exam
in advance.i used to only study
the day before the exam..
and i'll end up skipping stuff.
that means that my full potential hasn't
been realised...lol.
i've been feeling very tired.
been downing bottles
of brand's essense of chicken to
stay awake.
i've been studying quite a lot.
but not a lot.
quality not quantity!!
i know of many people who can study
all the time that they're awake,
but they never really absorb everything.
k gotta have my dinner.
you know, i've been eating
and eating AND eating.
i can only last for a max.
of 10 mins without food while
i'm studying.
studying really whets one's appetite.

I would like to pay a tribute
to the late Steve Irwin,
affectionately dubbed as the 'Crocodile Hunter'
by the million of fans and viewers
that he has earned through
his love for animals and his endless
zest for life.
Steve Irwin was unfortunately killed
as he was filming due to
a wound right through his heart
that a poisonous stingray inflicted.
Shortly after, he was pronounced dead.
I mourn the loss of such a wonderful man,
such an extraordinary man,
such a doting father.
I truly am sorry for his wife,
beautiful young daughter
and his infant boy.
May God's peace be with them
even through the darkest hours
of their life.
I grew up watching Steve Irwin on
Animal Planet, and was often in awe
of the remarkable stunts he pulled
and his natural connection with wildlife.
He died doing what he loved doing most,
and that is all that matters.

**When ordinary people do
extraordinary things, people
aften think that they are invincible,
undefeatable.
But after all, everyone is human,
even if it takes a death for us to realise that.
Mr Irwin, rest in peace.
You have a made a significant difference
in the lives of animals, big or small.
May God's grace be with you forever,
and ever more.

Song playing:
Maneater by Nelly Furtado.
something tells me that this'll be
a sensational post..so read on!
Firstly...
Educational TV.
There's one thing about me...
I cannot..absolutely cannot
watch any animal documentries.
That is something that I've learnt
over the years.
Why? Its not because I find them boring.
On the contrary..they are very, very exciting.
especially those of predator and prey.
But when I watch the eagles swooping down
on the innocent prey I pretty much
look like this : O.O
Then when the prey starts to run I
start screaming encouragement,
like : RUN!! OMG RUN!!! ITS COMING!!!
And then at the end, the predator
ALWAYS wins. Then for the next hour
or so I look so glum, like this: -_____-
Yup.
I LOVE lists.Don't you?
I've come up with a list...
Of things about a guy that just TURNS ME OFF.
Here goes nothing...
1) Overpowering cologne.
ya lah, you wear cologne,so WHAT??!
That's like super convenient because I
can smell these people from a mile away
and make sure that the distance apart remains the same.
2)Guys who have a problem with kiasu-ism.
stay farfarfarFAR away from me!!
I dash at the first sniff of kiasu-ism.
I think its the MOST disgusting trait EVER.
It just goes to show how selfish
and narrow-hearted that person is.
3)Pettiness.
wah biang...just forgive and try to forget CAN??!
Because it reflects really badly on a person.
So when people wrong petty people,
the petty people's thought process goes like this:
Hmm..maybe I should forgive that person?
Wait, NO.I must never forgive them.
they have wronged ME!! NONONO I hate them!!
Isn't that pure retardedness or what?
4)Super duper vain guys.
Adjust your hair ONE more time and I'll strangle you!!
I like guys who are conscious of their
appearance and dressing.(which girl doesn't?)
But there's a limit, honey.
5)Guys who don't give a damn about their exteriors.
I'm not gonna stand beside you, much less DATE you!!
I know, I know, the inside matters more..yawn.
But how a person takes care of himself
will generally reflect his whole attitude,
and the aftermath of marriage.
6)Guys who claim a girl as 'theirs' before the girl actually agrees.
How GENTLEMANLY.
Seriously, even if you say that you are
the president 100000 times, you still won't be the president.
Get my point?? If you say a girl is yours
but she isn't..HAHA.
7)Guys who are later than me.
I'm not exactly the most punctual person.
If you're worse..errr......
8)Guys who harp on and on about natural beauty.
There's no such thing as natural beauty.
Go read my entry on natural beauty.August, I think.
You want natural beauty? Go marry a tree.
Or you can just BURN.
9)Guys who expect girl to be STEREOTYPES.
Uh....its year 2006.Have you been hiding under a rock?
Girls have all rights to pursue their own careers.
We can bring home the bacon too.
Making babies and looking after them was SO yesterday.
And by yesterday I mean 30 years ago.
Go marry a baby making machine.Or even better,
PURCHASE a wife.You know what I mean.
10)Guys who feel the need to communicate 24/7.
You bo liao issit??!! Send me STOOOOPID messages.
I take it you're gonna foot my handphone bill.
11)Guys who take girls for granted.
Just because you're a guy doesn't automatically
make girls indebted to you.YOU are the one who
can't survive with a partner.
12)Guys who are too thrifty to the extreme.
Why settle for second best when the best is within your reach??
13)Unromantic guys.
Of course, romantic has a limit too.
Sometimes I can feel all my hair standing
on ends when I see couples dizzy in love.
14)Guys who are indecisive.
Helloo...make a decision already!!!
You are, after all, supposedly the one who's 'in charge'.My foot!
15)Guys who are uncertain about their future.
No future=No wife.Simple.
16)Guys who are very vulgar.
Is your mouth a trashbin? Can I throw crap inside then??
And last but certainly not least...
*17)Cocky guys.
I hate to burst your little,no,wait,HUGE
ego bubble, but seriously, you're not as good
as you think you are.
The list could go on and on...
but I've run out of thoughts.
Hate me after reading this?
Well..its your choice.
These are only the basic requirements
a girl has for a guy.
Not doing all the above would make a guy 'OK'.
A guy has to go beyond that to be actually
considered a 'GOOD' boyfriend.
Now, the third segment of this post.
I am gonna make a statement.
I am not against, and I even approve of plastic surgery.
Read on to find out why.
..
..
..( Forenote: I'm not against people who don't
do plastic surgery,lol.I am,however, against
people who are against plastic surgery.)
Let me illustrate my points to you via
a typical scenario.
Let me introduce the characters:
A, an average girl. Not good looking
even by the most generous standards.
B, a good friend of A.Same looks.Blah.
Then B went for plastic surgery.
B cut bigger eyes, got a rhinoplasty, and whatnot.
The result: B becomes dropdead GORGEOUS.
B scores a modelling/acting contract with a
HUGE company.Due to B's busy career,
B and A's friendship slowly dissolves.
One day, one of A's other friends, C drops by.
C is quite a pretty girl, but fades in comparison
to B.
C raves on and on about B's beauty, singing her praises.
A is extremely unhappy, and tells C
that B had went under the knife, and even
digs out past photos to prove her point.
C is so happy to know that B isn't as perfect
as she seems.
And together, A and C both diss B,
saying things like:
OMG, she is so plastic!! Waste money to do surgery!!
I would NEVER do surgery! Natural beauty is the best!!
Note how A and C have become
jealous, green-eyed monsters.
Together, they spread the news
about B's surgery to ALL their friends/relatives.
C joins a beauty pageant.
Coincidentally, B also joins the same pageant.
And B wins!!!
C is totally pissed off.
And C complains that it wasn't fair
because B had undergone surgery.
All over the world, there are SO many people
like C.And I can't stand these people.
People like C have to understand this fact:
Its not the process that matters.
Rather, its the end results that counts.
B underwent plastic surgery.
SO??! The only fact that matters is that
now B is BEAUTIFUL.And C is less hot than B.
Let me ask C:
Why don't you go for plastic surgery too?
Then wouldn't it be FAIR?
But knowing C, C will probably
start spewing crap about never doing plastic surgery, blahblah.
So then, C.
What is stopping you?
Certainly not your decision to be natural.
Give a chance, who wouldn't want to look nicer?
So, C. You have 2 reasons why you will abstain
from plastic surgery.
Number 1:
You haven't got the resources.
You don't have the money.
Number 2:
You are a coward.
You don't dare to take the risks.
Thus, B is richer AND more courageous than you.
When people undergo plastic surgery,
it shows that they CARE about their appearance.
(Forenote: I'm not against ugly people.
But I am against ugly and jealous people.)
A is below average when it comes
to looks.Its OK.
But A mocks people like B who have modified their image.
So A brings down beautiful people
to make them uglier and to make herself more beautiful.
Um, A?
Saying people are stupid will not
make you any smarter.Geddit??
And that just about sums it up.
Plastic surgery is a great way for people
to boost their confidence, and to create
more career opportunities for themselves.
And in case you're wondering,
this means that I am NOT against HER.

Now, hasn't this been a meaningful post?
I took an hour to write this.
Hope that it made sense.

Prelims, yo!

I'm in a really good mood now,
after unloading all my thoughts.
